WHO WE ARE:

The Parent Teacher Council (PTC) is an organization comprised of our parent body and teachers. Every parent is a member of the PTC. Through a well-organized liaison system of parent volunteers, the PTC acts as a vital link between the parent body and the professional staff. With representation on the Executive Committees, Va’ad HaChinuch and the Board of Directors, the PTC represents parents at all levels of decision-making within the school.

Our mission is to advocate for the health, safety, education, social and spiritual well-being of AHS students. We are committed to enhancing the school experience by raising significant funds that finance curricular and non-curricular support activities or purchases, including educational materials, equipment, services and programmes. Recently the PTC supported new innovations in art, gym, Pre-School Enhancement project. The PTC funds all Library books and author programmes, Siddurim for Grade 1 students, graduation gifts for Grade 8 students and Middle School Shabbatons.
