Associated Hebrew Schools has a proud history of providing for the educational needs of Toronto's Jewish community. Over one hundred years ago, our founders took risks by establishing a Jewish school which welcomed students from across the community, from families of all socio-economic backgrounds, to learn side-by-side. They took a risk by educating their students in Hebrew, and by introducing secular subjects along side Jewish ones. One hundred years later, this hardly sounds risky, because what I've just described has become commonplace. But it is because Associated had vision, and continues to be forward-thinking, that the initiatives started by this school are the standards now followed by other schools.

We remain steadfast in our objectives of instilling a sense of commitment and identification with Torah, Israel and Hebrew as well as the ideals and traditions of the Jewish People. We are equally committed to providing our students with the finest General Studies education. Our halls are filled with students who feel a pride for their school, a commitment to their community and a dedication to both Canada and Israel. It is an amazing and humbling feeling to walk through our halls and to know that within our school we house the future leaders of our community.

The strategic placement of all of our campuses along the Bathurst Street corridor, makes Associated the most accessible Jewish day school in the GTA. Children from nursery to Grade 5 learn either at the Kamin Education Centre in Thornhill or the Posluns Education Centre south of the 401. Grades 6-8 come together at the Danilack Middle School located in the Hurwich Education Centre on Finch Avenue.

Now as we enter our second century, we look forward to one hundred more years of success.  We know that our success is possible thanks to the incredible dedication and commitment of our lay leadership, and the ongoing efforts of our top quality team of educators. We remain committed to responding to the educational needs of our Jewish community.
