At Associated, we believe in providing a rigorous academic environment where students will be challenged to achieve beyond their expectations. We believe in providing our students with the strongest possible academic foundation, so that they graduate our school completely prepared for what they will face in high school and beyond. We believe in excellence, and that means providing a general studies curriculum that prepares our students in all the fundamentals: language arts, comprehension, literacy, math, science and social studies. At Associated, we are not only about content. Learning is something we believe has to be lived and experienced, and not just gleaned from a text book.
This philosophy extends from our General studies program to our Judaic studies. We teach Hebrew Ivrit b'Ivrit because we believe to truly learn a language, you have to live it. We model Jewish life throughout the school so that it is not just something our students are taught, but something they experience, and cherish, everyday.
At Associated we value our students as individuals. No two students learn alike, and educational excellence is something we promise to all of our students. Every child has his or her own potential. At Associated, we strive to help each student reach beyond that potential and experience excellence on his or her own terms.
As much as we expect of our students, our students expect even more of us. They look to us to prepare them for their future. Because of this, we never stop challenging ourselves. At Associated, we invest in the best educational leadership there is available. Here you will find teachers upgrading to master's degrees, principals studying for their doctorates, and a Director of Education who, in his spare time, received rabbinical ordination.
We are constantly bringing on consultants to evaluate our programs so that we can update our curriculum and keep it in line with the most advanced educational thought. We believe in being a school of the world, and to that end, to never resting on our laurels nor thinking we have done enough.
To be a truly great school, an institution must stand for innovation, leadership and results. These are our corner stones upon which we have built a foundation of exceptional academics.
